Creating a Sacred Pouch
with Adhi Moonien Two Owls
Saturday, January 22, 2011, 2-6pm, at Radiance in Lancaster
Many traditions use the practice of carrying a small pouch or bag with special objects in it for protecting or guiding the practitioner. In this workshop you will create a pouch made of elk leather and other materials for your personal "medicine" or specific empowering objects. There will be a few designs to choose from. Participants will take two short journeys to find guides to help with this process.
A sacred pouch is a womb; a place to keep things safe, nurture an intention into being, carry the herbs, stones or other things you need to keep close to you.
Cost: $45.00 plus a material fee of $15.00, in advance.
Bring to class: Your journal and a yoga mat and/or blanket to sit on, Willow leaves or bark for offering.
Class will be held at Radiance, 9 W Grant St, Lancaster, PA, across the cobblestones from Central Market. Stop in or phone 717-290-1517 to register.

Fair Trade African Market Baskets from Ghana
A new shipment of these wonderful baskets arrived yesterday. Come see the beautiful colours and patterns.
We've been busy with the dye pots, too, Logwood and Osage orange - new silk scarves and camisoles. And I just finished a batch of Peppermint Foot Creme! We're always doing something fun and interesting here at Radiance!
