The Ancestors Workshop with Amanda Kemp

Inspired by her poem, You Know the Ancestors Are Calling You, Amanda Kemp developed this workshop to open the door to compassion, forgiveness and a deeper awareness of what we are called to do in this life.

Integrating yoga postures, creative writing and meditation Dr. Kemp creates a space for participants to connect with, and draw strength from, our ancestors. These ancestors may be biological, political, spiritual or artistic with names known or unknown to us. Appropriate for all levels of yoga and/or writing experience, Dr. Kemp has offered this workshop at Pendle Hill, Stanford University and Friends General Conference, among other places.

Amanda Kemp completed her Yoga Teacher Training in Classical Hatha Yoga at Dr. Bob Butera's Yoga Life Center in Devon, Pa. A second degree reiki practitioner and Radical Manifestation Coach, Dr. Kemp is also the founder of Theatre for Transformation. She has taught at Franklin & Marshall College, Dickinson College and Cornell University.
