Making a Sacred Knife workshop

Making a Sacred Knife with Adhi Moonien Two Owls

Saturday, January 29, 2011, 2-6pm, at Radiance in Lancaster

In many traditions the sacred knife is associated with symbols of creativity, discernment, ideas, clarity and used as the tool for cutting away the illusions that keep us from attaining these qualities. In this workshop participants will create a scared knife out of either stone or steel and learn some of the uses for this sacred tool. Participants will take two short journeys to find guides to help with this process.

Cost: $45.00 plus a material fee of $20.00 for a stone blade or $35 for a steel blade, in advance.

Bring to class: Your journal and a yoga mat and/or blanket to sit on, Balm of Gilead buds for offering.

Class will be held at Radiance, 9 W Grant St, Lancaster, PA, across the cobblestones from Central Market. Stop in or phone 717-290-1517 to register.
