This is the third in a series of four planned workshops in Kundalini Yoga, which will center around the shift of the seasons, and their relationship to the yogic philosophy and cycles of life.
Spring is often understood to be the time of childhood and youth. It is the joyful season of Planting Seeds and of New Beginnings. We prepare now for the blossoming that will be coming soon.
We will practice yoga and meditation, and we will explore yogic foods that are most beneficial during this season in our lives and this season of the yearly cycle, and share a vegetarian lunch together.
Padmani Kaur (Christine Cappabianca) will lead us on this joyful journey, which will include a Kundalini Yoga class, lecture/discussion, recipes, meditation and a vegetarian lunch!
Bring to class: a natural fiber blanket or towel and/or a yoga mat, a pillow if it will help you to sit more comfortably on the wooden floor. Dress in loose, comfortable layers.
