Working with a Shadow Book
with shaman, Adhi Two Owls
Friday, October 25, 2013, 6-9 pm
Writing is one of the most powerful ways to create inner
dialogue, and to move ideas and thoughts toward creative manifestation. In some
traditions it is also a way to address the deeper things that we don't talk
about or express openly. These "shadows" can misguide us in subconscious
ways that can cause setbacks in our lives. During this evening together we will
explore shadow as metaphor and substance. Adhi will guide us in creating a
shadow book and using it to bring about meaningful changes in our lives, as
well as a tool to confront the secret darkness that often separates us from our
authentic self. She will share
transformational journalling techniques.
Cost: $30, in advance, $35 on the day of the class.
Bring to class: A blank
book, pens, pencils, markers to write and draw with, and a yoga mat and/or
blanket to sit on.
Class will be held at Radiance, 9 W Grant St, Lancaster, PA,
across the cobblestones from Central Market.
Stop in or phone 717-290-1517 to register.
Adhi is a traditionally-trained shaman and has been studying the
rattle as a tool for transformation for almost 20 years. She draws from many different teachers and
their wisdom. Adhi is an
accomplished artist, energy worker, Radiesthesiologist (vibrational dowser),
and researcher. Her primary area of study is sacred objects, ritual items,
magical tools and the temple sciences that guide them. She has spent that last
2 decades understanding deeper patterns and energies that make them work.
Adhi's formal training is from the Kansas City Art Institute. Other training is
in Bio-geometry, Reiki, Shamanism, Buddhism, and advanced energy sciences. Adhi
travels and teaches all over the world.
