Build Your Own Rocket Stove!

The rocket stove was invented for use in developing nations as a highly efficient, low tech alternative to traditional resource guzzling cook-stoves and open flame fires. While traditional stoves and fires rely on coal, wood or gas for fuel, the rocket stove can cook a whole dinner using just twigs and grasses. Constructed from recycled materials, the rocket stove is an affordable and sustainable cook-stove design that is so simple anyone can learn to build it. Makes a great camp or outdoor kitchen stove.

Join us July 11th from 1 to 4pm for a rocket stove-building workshop. We will also discuss the importance of appropriate technology in today's world. And you will leave with your own finished stove!

Cost: $50-$35 per person, sliding scale. Materials are included.

Class will be held at Radiance, 9 W Grant St, Lancaster, PA 17603
