Honoring the Ancestors with Shaman Adhi Two Owls

Honoring the Ancestors
with shaman, Adhi Two Owls

Sunday, October 27, 2013, 1-5 pm

The Ancestors weave their stories through us as we journey in the physical world.  We remember them as Mothers, Fathers, Grandparents, Wise Ones, and Tricksters.  In this workshop, we will explore many ways to honor our ancestors, drawing from different traditions, and exploring contemporary practices to bring us closer to their insights from the other side.
The time around the full moon in October is traditionally seen as a doorway to the realms of the souls who have departed.  The veils between the worlds are thin, and we can leave offerings to help nourish and honor who our ancestors were, and who they have become.
In this workshop, Adhi will cover many types of offerings, building ancestral altars, making ancestral effigies, and several different ceremonies.  We will also take a shamanic journey.

Cost: $45, in advance, $50 on the day of the class.
Bring to class:  Your journal, photographs of ancestors, and a yoga mat and/or blanket to sit on.
Class will be held at Radiance, 9 W Grant St, Lancaster, PA, across the cobblestones from Central Market.  Stop in or phone 717-290-1517 to register.

Adhi is a traditionally-trained shaman and has been studying the rattle as a tool for transformation for almost 20 years.  She draws from many different teachers and their wisdom.  Adhi is an accomplished artist, energy worker, Radiesthesiologist (vibrational dowser), and researcher. Her primary area of study is sacred objects, ritual items, magical tools and the temple sciences that guide them. She has spent that last 2 decades understanding deeper patterns and energies that make them work. Adhi's formal training is from the Kansas City Art Institute. Other training is in Bio-geometry, Reiki, Shamanism, Buddhism, and advanced energy sciences. Adhi travels and teaches all over the world.
